Aligners
Aligners are used to move teeth by applying pressure in certain directions through a series of aligners. They are clear and not very visible; usually, there will be some rectangular white attachments (‘buttons’) on some teeth (instead of metal brackets), and sometimes small spaces are made between some teeth to create space into which the teeth can move when crowded.
The aligners are worn all the time, being taken out only to eat.
Treatment time is often fairly quick, and good oral hygiene can be maintained as normal by brushing and flossing.
