Botox Injections
Botox is an increasingly popular treatment
The solutions which is injected into certain muscle groups has the effect of reducing muscle activity and therefore can reduce wrinkles formed by frowning, raising eyebrows or smiling; it can also reduce the action of muscles that cause headaches/migraines
The most frequent treatments are frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead wrinkles, smile lines on the side of the eyes and muscles that contribute to headaches.
Dermal Fillers
These are mostly gels made of hyaluronic acid (which we naturally have but decreases with age) are used to restore lost volume, enhance certain features and sometimes reduce wrinkles/grooves
Common areas of use are cheeks, jawline, temples, chin and around the mouth.
Skin Booster Treatments
These injectable, relatively non-dense materials (usually amino acids or polynucleotides) are typically placed just under the skin in a number of places in an area. The effect is to increase collagen and elastin production (which reduces with age), resulting in a more hydrated skin; this gives a younger, smoother looking appearance
Typically given as a series of three treatments with around a month in between. Mainly used in the cheek area, around the mouth and sides of the eyes.
